From 2012 to 2014, I completed a Master of Studies in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at the University of Oxford (UK). From 2017 to 2022, I pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Evidence-Based Health Care, also from Oxford University, on mindfulness in the workplace. Concurrent with my master's degree, I was trained as MBCT instructor at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. In my studies, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the science related to health and well-being from the perspectives of Western psychology, Buddhist traditions, and cognitive sciences. Additionally, I obtained a certificate in Health Research (2016).

An experienced and trained coach and facilitator, I have served as a senior consultant and team leader for a consulting firm. My responsibility was to develop and facilitate workshops and deliver consulting services to DAX and medium-sized companies, mostly in Germany. I taught at the Goethe-Institutes in Berlin, Hanoi, and Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Vietnam), as well as at Humboldt University Berlin and the University of Pittsburgh (USA).

I completed an integral coaching program at the Coaching-Center Berlin (2010), and am certified as an intercultural trainer (artop, 2007) and consultant (Kompetenzzentrum Mensch-Gesundheit-Arbeit Potsdam, 2006). In the 90s, I studied Art History and German Literature in Hamburg, Pittsburgh, (USA), and Berlin, supported by a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.

I love to recharge by spending my summers off the grid with my partner in Colorado, USA. I have been practicing meditation for many years, primarily in the Vipassana tradition.
